ROLE: Human Resource Specialist

Foster strong working relationships between employees and HR; seek to be first point of contact for employee matters/issues
Provide support to managers, supervisors and employees regarding employee relations
Recruit and lead the entire talent acquisition processfor all open job vacancies, both permanent and temporary placements
Maintain employee files with proper documentation of changes in compensation, position, benefits, training and disciplinary action
Update HR SAP and HR Org-Management to maintain information and document accuracy
Conduct specific HR tasks, including hiring/staffing, administering benefits, new hire orientation, monitoring absenteeism, timekeeping, etc.
Support FMLA, short-term disability and worker’s compensation
Manage department initiatives and projects, while satisfying applicable milestones and goals
Coordinate and roll-out/execute site employee activities
Recommend continuous improvement measures regarding policies and/or procedures, while ensuring adherence to all labor laws and regulations regarding employment relationship
Manage payroll tasks and payroll system [Kronos]
Support safety/EHS directives and maintain a clean and safe workspace; follow cGMP
Performother duties as assigned
